Full Travel Directions

If you’re heading to the skatepark from one of the three train stations here in Portsmouth, below are some more detailed directions.

From Fratton station

  • Fratton is the easiest train station to get to the park
  • Come out of your platform, across the bridge, turn right and continue approx 30 seconds by bike until you get to a big roundabout
  • At the roundabout, if you are the left side of the road, first exit onto Fawcett Rd. Priory School is on the right hand side, if you don’t see Priory School you are going the wrong way or an alternative route than we are suggesting
  • From here getting to the skatepark is relatively straight forward, Fawcett Road onto Lawrence Road, at junction to Albert Road, head straight across onto Waverley Road onto the Strand roundabout with Southsea map on wall. Continue straight across, slight uphill climb to get to the seafront
  • Turn right onto Clarence Esplanade, Rock Gardens are to your left and you should see the Pyramids. We are across the road from the Pyramids in the middle of Southsea Common. Look out for the big bandstand if you have never been before
